Svādyāya III: Being In the Middle (the “missing” Wednesday post)
Ernö Rubik [whose Cube was invented today in 1974] once said, “If you are curious, you’ll find the puzzles around you. If you are determined, you will solve them.”
[Johns Hopkins, Malcolm X, and Lorraine Hansberry} shared a problem, a problem we also share: How do we find create a society that lives up to its legendary origin story? We each have our experiences – which result in certain perspectives – and we each have certain gifts, which we can share with the world. To share our gifts, however, we sometimes have to understand what shapes our perspectives – and what shapes the perspectives of the people around us. To understand what shapes us, we have to go deeper into the core and how we’re all connected.
